Rhinebeck United Methodist Church

Saturday’s Worship & Praise Services

Upcoming Schedule

Join us on May 17th at the Rhinebeck United Methodist Church for an evening with three distinguished artists of Indian classical music.

This event is sponsored by Viewcy — a hub for artists, culture, and music communities everywhere.

**Jay Gandhi**, a senior disciple of the legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, is acclaimed for his soulful performances on the bansuri. Beyond the classical stage, Jay’s ventures into American Jazz have seen him perform with icons like Ravi Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders. As a pivotal figure in Brooklyn Raga Massive, Jay’s contributions are key to the vibrant NYC music scene.

**Ehren Hanson** began his tabla journey at 15 and has since become a dedicated disciple of tabla maestro Pandit Anindo Chatterjee. Based in NYC, Ehren’s performances span classical collaborations and global fusion projects. His role extends beyond performance to fostering community through the Brooklyn Court music series and founding Viewcy.com.

**Abhik Mukherjee**, trained in the Etawah-Imdadkhani gharana, is known for his emotive sitar performances that resonate globally. From Kolkata to prestigious stages like Carnegie Hall, Abhik has charmed audiences worldwide. His contributions to film scores and his educational endeavors at the Chhandayan School of Music in New York enrich his deep commitment to spreading Indian classical music.

Together, these artists exemplify the rich tapestry of Indian classical music and its dialogue with global genres. Don’t miss this immersive experience.
